Floods in Pakistan! Massive flooding caused by the overflowing Ravi, Sutlej, and Chenab rivers has caused widespread devastation across Punjab. According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), more than 1.5 million people have been affected.

Villages Submerged

In Floods in Pakistan Over 2,300 villages have been submerged, prompting large-scale rescue efforts. Nearly 500,000 people have been evacuated to safer areas. To assist those displaced, the government has established 511 relief camps offering food, clean water, and shelter. Additionally, hundreds of medical and veterinary camps have been set up to treat the injured and care for affected livestock.

Government Sets Relief and Medical Camp

The situation remains critical, with fluctuating river levels and more heavy rain forecasted in several districts within the next 24 hours. Authorities warn that additional flooding is possible if the rainfall continues.

The floods have already claimed lives and destroyed vast stretches of farmland, leaving many farmers and rural communities devastated. With homes, crops, and livelihoods lost, thousands now rely on government support and relief operations to recover from this disaster.
