
Ayesha Gul first female SSP KPK, For the very first time, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recruited a woman as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
The Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police appointed Ayesha Gul of Swabi district as SSP Investigation for Peshawar.
Official notification established the new position, entrusting her with inquiry and investigation operations in the provincial capital.
Gul, a Grade-18 PSP officer, comes with much experience to the new role.
She also served as Additional Inspector General (AIG) Gender, where she developed gender-based policing policies and improved operational effectiveness.

She has just returned from abroad after undergoing professional training as part of a mid-career police capacity-building program.
The training improved her leadership skills, investigative abilities, and policy implementation experience, adding to her credentials to take up the role of SSP.
Her selection is a landmark achievement for women in police forces throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Historically conservative Khyber Pakhtunkhwa never before had promoted a woman to an SSP-level position in investigative wings.
