Ducky Bhai bail rejected, A court has turned down the bail application of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, also called Ducky Bhai, in a gambling apps case.

The magistrate turned down his bail plea, keeping the influencer in judicial custody as the investigation continues.

The court ordered National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) officials to present the challan on time without any unnecessary delay.

Ducky Bhai is at present undergoing a 14-day judicial remand after being arrested last month.

The authorities arrested him on 17th August at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, on charges of promoting illicit gambling applications.

Investigations allege that he was promoting apps such as Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game through his huge social media base.

The officials accuse him of serving as a country manager for one of the apps and handling big-money transactions to entice users.

The case is on charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and Pakistan Penal Code, such as fraud and forgery.

Ducky Bhai would be liable to pay heavy fines and imprisonment if convicted according to Pakistani law.

The authorities have also called in influencers like Iqra Kanwal, Muhammad Anas Ali, Hasnain Shah, Mudassar Hassan, and Rajab Butt.

NCCIA officials say the case exposes an organized gang behind money scams in Pakistan on a large scale.

This case has initiated national discussion about influencer responsibility and regulation of online endorsements within the online space of Pakistan.
