Her involvement represents how Emirati women persist in pushing beyond boundaries while remaining rooted in their culture.
From Economics to Fashion and Advocacy
Mariam graduated with a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Sydney and is studying fashion design at ESMOD Dubai. Her eclectic education serves as a great mix of knowledge, imagination, and leadership.

She explained that her dream is to help empower women and alleviate world poverty through sustainable and inclusive means.
Advocating for Humanitarian and Cultural Causes
Aside from academics, Mariam has been a steadfast supporter of community and humanitarian initiatives such as Ramadan Aman and The Giving Family Initiative. She has also been an ambassador of the UAE in global female entrepreneurship programs, fostering innovation and sustainability.
Her interest in sustainable fashion is in tune with global trends that value creativity as well as environmental consciousness.
A Blend of Heritage and Modern Vision
Embracing Emirati tradition, Mariam is passionate about falconry and camel riding, as well as environmentally friendly design and cross-cultural exchange. She looks to showcase the balance between tradition and innovation in the UAE at Miss Universe 2025.
Her inclusion is a powerful message: Emirati women can preserve their heritage and drive change on the global stage.

Empowering the Next Generation
As she prepares for the Thailand international pageant, Mariam is hoping to empower young women in the UAE to pursue their aspirations without fear.
She would also be the second Miss Universe UAE contestant, after Emilia Dobreva last year, to represent the country.
