The 2nd Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference took place in Beijing on 4 September 2025, with Pakistan’s Embassy organizing it.
Consulates in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Shanghai supported it, ensuring wider regional participation and interaction.
The conference efficiently facilitated more than 2,500 carefully selected B2B meetings within a day across nine sectors and forty sub-sectors.
Such meetings yielded 21 Joint Venture Agreements valuing USD 1.5 billion, along with 100 MoUs amounting to more than USD 7 billion.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar offered counsel, securing the success of this historical event.
Main institutions such as the Special Investment Facilitation Council, Board of Investment, and ministries added crucial organizational support.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited both opening and closing ceremonies, lending weight and importance to the event.
He also witnessed the signing ceremonies and gave a keynote address hailing Pakistan-China’s long-standing partnership.
The Prime Minister welcomed China’s economic success, calling for increased trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
He guaranteed full facilitation, tight security, and firm follow-up on all signed MoU and agreements.
This year’s conference surpassed last year’s Shenzhen edition by bigger scale, focused approach, and better preparations.
Sector-specific pitch books, guidelines, and orientation sessions were implemented for better matching and effective outcomes.
A system for evaluation through structured feedback forms was established to quantify the strategy’s performance and outcomes
